Symptoms

This sample is a very rough sketch of symptoms... An animation of the list unrolling is possible as are funny animations of several select symptoms. This can run along the left side of a page of story and art.

This article from The New York Times today, nicely sums up the point of my story- "One Hundred Thousand Welcomes". I think that this is a big issue that deserves much more media attention than it's getting.

One Hundred Thousand Welcomes

One Hundred Thousand Welcomes is the story of how and why I left New York City for Ireland in 2006. This is a rough of the first page. I will be posting more ideas and thoughts in the coming days. Thank you for reading!

Real Problems & Brilliant Solutions

InktArt in it's latest issue is featuring "comics journalism" from women! An entry of mine was chosen for this issue - "Real Problems and Brilliant Solutions". It's about ridiculous "solutions" to some serious problems facing America today.

InktArt is a fantastic new website - online critical and scholarly journal about women in comics. Check it out, and be sure to bookmark this awesome new site!

New Mommy

February 2012

Hey, who knew having and caring for a baby would take up so much of your time?!

I have been a bit preoccupied in the past year, for a very good reason. It's been such a joy to be mommy to our adorable Shea. I'm enjoying every minute of it!

I am however looking forward to rejoining the collective very soon and will keep you updated!

In the meantime, Happy Spring!
